What Chorionic Gonadotrophin isused for
Chorionic Gonadotrophin, alsoknown as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), is used to treat certain types ofinfertility in women, to increase sperm production in men, and treatun-descended testicle in young boys.
Do not take ChorionicGonadotrophin
·If you’re allergic to theactive substances or any other component of this medicine.
·If you’ve had an earlypuberty (precocious puberty).
·If you have cancer or atumor in the prostate.
·If you have a sex hormonerelated cancer or tumor (ovaries, uterus, breast, testicles…).
·If you have primary ovarianfailure (your ovaries no longer make eggs).
·If you have malformationsof sexual organs incompatible with pregnancy.
·If you have enlargedovaries or ovarian cysts.
·If you have abnormalvaginal bleeding.
·If you are pregnant orbreast-feeding.
·If you are a postmenopausalwoman.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor about allyour medical conditions before taking this drug including:
·Cardiac problems
·Renal problems
·Problems with your adrenal or pituitary gland
·Migraines
·Seizures and epilepsy
·Asthma
·Blood clot problems
Using this medicine increases therisk of developing Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), a condition whereovaries get enlarged.
Pregnancy outside the womb(ectopic pregnancy) might occur with this medicine.
If you have or previously hadblood clot problems or have family members with these problems, you have ahigher risk of having them while taking this medicine.
Taking this medicine may raise thechance of getting pregnant with more than one baby at the same time.
Miscarriage might occur when thismedicine is used for pregnancy.
Possible side effects
Stop using this product and seekimmediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; blisters; itching; wheezing;tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; orswelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

·Blood clot formation

How to take ChorionicGonadotrophin
·This medicine is intendedfor adult use only.
·This medicine should beused under the supervision of an expert doctor.
·Itis given as a shot in the muscle (intramuscular injection).
·In women, the usualdosing is 5,000 to 10,000 Units one day following the previous treatment withmenotropins. Take exactly as indicated by your doctor.
·In men, theinjections are typically given 3 times per week lasting for a few weeks. Takeexactly as indicated by your doctor.
How to store ChorionicGonadotrophin
·Store at room temperature15–30°C (59–86°F).
·Reconstituted solution isstable for 60 days when refrigerated.
·Keep this medicine out ofreach of children.
·Do not use this medicineafter the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the lastday of that month.
